How do I Export List Data to a File? (1.65)
The list function provides a way to export the current list in a number of text based formats including comma separated values and html.
Open the required list
Click the Export Button
Set the export options
- There may be hidden columns in the list. If you check this then all the available columns will be included in the output file
- If you want the first line in the file to contain the column headers then check this
- There are a number of formats that you can export in. You can use comma separated values either with quotes around the field data or not. If you have unusual characters in the data or are using the comma decimal separator then you may find that you need to use the quoted option. Tab separated values place tabs between the fields of data. HTML will generate an html document with the list data in it that can be read in a browser or other html enabled application
- When you have made your choices click the Export button
- Choose Cancel at any time to cancel the export
Choose the file name
Clicking the Export button will open the Save File dialog. ADE filters the files in the folder to match the type of file you are creating. Enter a file name and click Save
