How do I Add a Fuel Trigger?

Adding a fuel trigger is different for FS9 and FSX/P3D.  In FSX/P3D it is necessary to have a fuel parking spot.  This is not required in FS9

Add a fuel trigger in FS9

Add a fuel trigger in FS9
  1. Right click where you want the fuel trigger
  2. Select Add and then
  3. Fuel Trigger

The fuel trigger properties dialog will open so that you may select which types of fuel you want available at the spot (you can always edit these later)

Save the properties and the fuel trigger will be shown.  You can drag and/or rotate it to its final position

In FSX/P3D you first need to have a fuel parking spot to add the trigger to.  ADE will not offer the option to add a fuel trigger if there is not a fuel parking spot first

  1. Change the type of parking spot to add to FUEL

  2. While you are there connect it to the taxi network

  2. Right click
  3. Select Add and
  4. Fuel Trigger

The fuel trigger property dialog will open so that you can select the fuel types you want available at the fuel parking spot

When you save the properties the fuel trigger will be placed at the parking spot.  Note that ADE will size the fuel trigger to match the parking spot and heading
